In practice

• Sessions proposed by any TPAC attendee
• Everyone decides which sessions they attend

Feedback received from previous years

• MOAR!!!
• "Mad Scramble" is non-inclusive
• Hard to navigate the day with wiki-based schedule
• Hard to follow other sessions remotely via IRC
• Don't overlap sessions with lunch!

Changes in the format

• 5 slots with 12 rooms → 60 sessions possible!
  • ⚠ No more reporting session
• Encouraged early submissions of proposals to remove mad-scramble
• Developed mobile-friendly agenda page
• Identified IRC channels ahead of time

For everyone else

• Identify sessions of interest in the agenda page
• The final agenda will be ready at 10:30am at the latest
• Plan to be at 11:00am in your first identified session

Reminders for proposers

• If your session is not before a break, ends 5 minutes before the bottom of the hour
• Make sure to find a scribe
• Make sure to use your IRC channel for minutes
• Send 1 or 2 sentences summary after your session for inclusion in final summary
• Best practices:
  • Clearly announce goals
  • Leave time at the end of identify next steps / where to follow up

At the end of your breakout:

• Discuss a summary
• Make it digital
• Put it on the wiki or send it to public-tpac-unconference@w3.org
• Keep it short and focused.

You may also wish to disseminate you summaries via email, or in a new Community Group, or through other means.
