<LisaSeemanKest> can anyone hear me?

https://github.com/w3c/personalization-semantics/wiki/Options-for-symbol

<LisaSeemanKest> we dont have quarum. but we are going to talk to symbol

<LisaSeemanKest> scribe:roy

Lisa: JF and Lisa will explain what's different from their opinion for symbol

<LisaSeemanKest> question: is it begter to aviod english terms becuse of internationalization

janina: I need to concern about the translation for symbol, we need something tabled them.
... that's may ambiguous

JF: a symbol concept library, it is hard to go to translation by machine
... I don't think we have AI for symbol translation

Lisa: people have language ability, you can't forbidden people to use symbols, maybe it's far away to implement, I try to find out what possible. Maybe a future thing, that 's be a case

<LisaSeemanKest> we need to clarify that bliss isnt ambigues, and symbols are diffrent for parts of speach

JF: concern on the implementations, who will be implemented on HTML
... it 's hard to convince companies to change their markdown.
... we could have something really useful and could be implemented

Lisa: for people who write content to audio, those who have cognitive issues, they may make mistake to take bus or something new
... we can help them alone
... it will be nice if we could achieve more

JF: very limited use case, I think about more on content

Lisa: I think we should solve the small problem, you could see the diffs for symbol, what could be diff translation,

JF: how do you visualize that, replacement or top bar? @@ did a demo, it actually add a toolbar in the top of webpage,

Lisa: pop up in bank situation, in content may replacement. my dream is decided by audios

JF: I can see tool here, we may mark the code let the AI to train them, I think the first one we should take up quickly, second one that's the goal... suggest use the BCI
... just use the America references
... we need a common key

Lisa: map file how we use the symbol

Janina: two basic things, agree three use case John mentioned, I think making translation as a start point

JF: I rather to use new American, one of concern is to build a symbol to another

Janina: SSML may a case
... pronunciation TF have same situation

JF: we need references to set somewhere
... suggest prove the concept to use taxonomy

Lisa: I like to put the issue together which we agree

<LisaSeemanKest> q1. what refence do we use for each concept (number, bliss url, other url)

<LisaSeemanKest> dotl file suport

<LisaSeemanKest> new symbols set make ther own mapping put refence in it

<LisaSeemanKest> RAND

Janina: big deal for RAND

JF: biggest concern is how to implement

Lisa: first we could make the first draft come out

JF: we need one common set
... in Japan, that's a big question to resolve

Lisa: we put it in specification make people pay attention on it

JF: separate the module 1 may should be on consideration
