Submitted by: Dalal Al-Azizy (Lecturer University of Tabuk) --------------------------------- Bio I am a lecturer of Computer Science at the University of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia My research interests are about privacy and the Data Web. I did my postgraduate studies in the University of Southampton. I hold MSc in Web Technology from the School of Electronics and Computer Science (ECS). My MSc dissertation was about a model to control privacy in the Web of Linked Data. My postgraduate research was at the Web and Internet Science Research Group in ECS school. My research was initially about the impact of transparency on privacy in Linked Open Government Data. Then, I focused my research on the deanonymisation risk in Linked Data for an MPhil degree. Now as a lecturer, I teach programming, Internet and Web technologies, and IT management. While teaching, I work on my own research and also collaborating with other colleagues in topics about privacy issues in using electrical vehicles, anonymisation for statistical open datasets, privacy and trust for Internet of Things. My future focus to extend my work into PhD degree will be about controlling the publish of Linked Open Government for balancing data utility and privacy with regards to deanonymisability risk. ---------------------- *My Goal * For my own research, my goal is to widen my view to more technical issues and development tools in the fields of privacy and Linked Data. I want to connect the dots between different topics of my interests that I researched before. I also want to learn about the work and ideas of other participants in the workshop. In general, to exchange ideas and getting to know new trends, technologies and research outcomes, also networking with experts and people with similar interests. ---------------------- *Workshop goal* To enrich the discussions from different areas and come up with synergy and syntheses to achieve the workshop purposes. Moreover, to form a specialised and professional technical and research community for Privacy and Linked Data ----------------------
