SSN usage
From Spatial Data on the Web Working Group
This is just an outline to document the usage of the SSN so far. We can add more to this if there is interest in arriving at a better understanding of who uses the SSN, why they do so, and which challenges they face.
key uses of the ssn:
- Describing sensors and observations (interestingly not that much publicly available LOD work)
- Context of IoT
- Virtual sensors
- New ontologies
- SSO pattern
- Data integration and infrastructures
- For the sake of studying ssn / alignments, etc
