In version 1.11 (html) and 1.12 (xml), I added non-normative text for primary use cases to the API specification.

In the Editorial Notes, I added an open comment as to whether these use cases should be migrated to the "Introduction" section, along with "simple" code snippets.

This is not so much a 'use case' issue as an effort to re-visit a 'higher level' API where the minute details of the crypto API are hidden by a simple interface that 'does the right thing' for a 'narrower band' of use-cases.

Not going to add this to the API draft yet, needs discussion and the right time to think about this topic.

The WG has an issue on the way it will treat the high level API. As such there is no need to keep this action open. The FPWD will not contain any reference to the FPWD.
