Determine minimum serialization format for RDF data model
- State:
- CLOSED
- Product:
- Linked Data Platform Spec
- Raised by:
- Steve Speicher
- Opened on:
- 2012-08-27
- Description:
- What is the minimum required format for RDF data model that meets the requirements of LDP? A number of options: Turtle, JSON-LD, RDF/XML, HTML/RDFa
The desire is to ensure that LDP clients could depend on some minimal format.
Some consideration to consider:
Does it need to be RDF-complete (support all features)? If not complete, may need to raise another issue to track (like usage of rdf:Seq/List, blank nodes, etc).
Should summarize the various formats as MUST, SHOULD, MAY (or NOT variants) of these?
