Gavin Carothers

I am a Semantic Solutions Engineer, and the primary RDF WG representative for TopQuadrant, Inc, a semantic product and technology company that produces TopBraid Composer and TopBraid Live.

I'm also the original author of Pymantic, an RDF library and non programmer (template designer) friendly API in Python. Pymantic also includes parsers designed specifically for readability relative to the syntax specifications. Also maintain Tenuki a SPARQL 1.1 Graph API implementation. Both of these were initially developed and used at O'Reilly Media.

W3C Experience

Very little. Somewhat involved with HTML 5, but well that's HTML 5.

Focus for RDF-WG

  • Named Graphs and the serializations of them.
  • JSON syntax, specifically as a wire serialization
