    • We are currently trying to tackle two problems, defining provenance-related concepts and understanding the position of provenance in the web architecture. We should aim to separate the two discussions to be able to make progress on each of them, separately, and only then, trying to bring emerging solutions together in a coherent whole.

    • The notion of resource seems to be confusing at this stage in the discussion of provenance-related concepts. A view is emerging that we should first consider things that do not change, i.e. immutable things, in a first instance. Later, we can see how to explain mutable things. See [| MD][| SM].
