Description:
A "50,000-foot view" of the conceptual model would greatly aid being able to understand it. This would be concise and show how the various concepts introduced can work together. A good example of the sort of thing I mean is the diagram at http://open-biomed.sourceforge.net/opmv/ns.html#sec-desc

None of the concepts introduced is really meaningful in isolation: it's the compositions of constructs that express useful (provenance) information, and the possibilities for composition are hard to discern from the isolated concept descriptions.
