Can you please be more specific about what needs to be clarified? I had generally assumed that the roles in HTTP exchanges were well established and fairly clear from the context.

I now see this may be a reference to section 3, which deals with information that may be provided by means other than HTTP. I agree with the proposal in this case, and will look into it.
