Open Data Support

URL: http://data.opendatasupport.eu/ Description: Data harvested from a number of European open data vatalogues. According to the project announcement it contains metadata of more than 31000 datasets from 8 national catalogs.

The implementation report was done by analysing the SPARQL endpoint at http://data.opendatasupport.eu/

The European Union Open Data Portal does not conform to DCAT as it uses different terms than recommended by DCAT for keyword and contactPoint. Terms from ontology defined at http://open-data.europa.eu/files/ec-odp.owl are used and these terms are not defined as subproperties of DCAT terms.

DKAN does not conform to DCAT. It uses properties dcat:accessURL and dct:format at the Dataset level and not the distibution level. It does not define instances of dcat:Distribution.

vocab.deri.ie

URL: http://vocab.deri.ie/neologism/adms

Description: Neologism exports its ontologies description in ADMS. ADMS classes are defined as subclasses of DCAT classes. The data was downloaded and tested by performing RDFS closure and then analysing it by SPARQL queries.

Summary: The data uses old version of ADMS so technically it is does not conform to DCAT.
