Option 1

Do nothing.

AR is a really interesting area and we like it but there's nothing that 3C needs to do right now.

Option 2

Form an Incubator Group (XG)

survey the AR landscape;
write a report that points to future standards work;
collect use cases
lifespan <= 1 year
can lead to a full Working Group

Option 3

Working Group

Standardise ARML/KARML (W3C Recommendation)
Note on how to use linked data, Geolocation API, Device APIs and more (including non-W3C standards) within AR.
Liaise with other working groups and standards bodies.

Reminder

W3C does what its members ask of it
Member support is therefore critical.
Invited Experts are an important route through which individuals/small companies can take part.
Everyone is encouraged to comment on our standards as they are formulated and tested.
