The event takes place at the James H. Clark Center, auditorium, lower level. (See also the separate map for details.)

Parking

There is plenty of free parking available on campus during the weekend. We will provide more information on where to park after we confirm the meeting room.

Where to stay

Please note that we qualify for special room rates at some local hotels. Prices given are before tax.

For those unable to confirm their hotel reservations before the dates noted above, rooms will be subject to availability and current rates. If you prefer to stay at a different hotel, information on local lodging options can be found on Stanford's excellent visitor information services site.

They also currently have a “Birth Year Special” for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights: 109USD for the first night, and your year of birth for the 2nd and 3rd night (For example, if you were born in 1958, you will pay 58USD). Please use the special site to make your reservation. For both of these options, we recommend booking early as availability of rooms is limited. The hotel is on El Camino Real, adjacent to the University Avenue downtown area of Palo Alto.

To get to the conference at Stanford, take a cab from the hotel or from the Palo Alto Transit Center, about a block away. Or, it is a 1.4 mile walk, along the correctly-named Palm Drive and past the Rodin sculpture garden.
