NOTE: This document is no longer maintained because the Web Applications Working Group was closed in October 2015 and its deliverables transferred to the Web Platform Working Group.


This document defines the Proposed Recommendation status and data for the following widget specs by the Web Applications Working Group: Widget Packaging and XML Configuration, Widget Interface, Widget Digital Signature, View-mode Media Feature and Widget Access Request Policy (WARP).

Widget Packaging and XML Configuration

1. Document title: Widget Packaging and XML Configuration

2. Document URI: the document that serves as the Draft PR is <http://dev.w3.org/2006/waf/widgets/> and its TR location will continue to be <http://w3.org/TR/widgets/>

3. Estimated Publication Date: 9-August-2011. (The Call for Exclusion period for the 7-June-2011 LCWD ends 6-August-2011.)

4. Record of the WG's Decision to Advance: the decision to advance this spec to PR is recorded in <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webapps/2011AprJun/1383.html>. Note that a CR for the specification was not published because two or more implementations passed the test suite in the timeframe of LC comment period. The intent to go from LC to PR was announced on May 26 in <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webapps/2011AprJun/0712.html>.
