ISSUE-282: What to do about the "together" section in the accessibility doc? Remove it? Expand it?
What to do about the "together" section in the accessibility doc? Remove it? Expand it?
- State:
- CLOSED
- Product:
- Relationship between Mobile Web Best Practices 1.0 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0
- Raised by:
- Alan Chuter
- Opened on:
- 2008-10-02
- Description:
- This section should describe in more or less detail what to do when approaching a new project and wishing to make it both accessible (to WCAG) and mobile friendly (to MWBP) at the same time. Other pages in the document describe what to do when progressing from one Recommendation to another; this is about doing both together. While the other pages map each *individual* requirement to the corresponding requirements in the other Recommendation (one-to-many), the "together" section, to be complete, would have to map all the requirements in one document to all those in the other, a many-to-many mapping. This is probably beyond what can be done with the time available.

Alan Chuter, 2 Oct 2008, 15:04:18Plan is to suggest people first look at "shared experiences" document, then WCAG 2, then mapping, and then BP.
