ISSUE-167: 3.2 CHARACTER_ENCODING_SUPPORT and CHARACTER_ENCODING_USE
3.2 CHARACTER_ENCODING_SUPPORT and CHARACTER_ENCODING_USE
- State:
- CLOSED
- Product:
- mobileOK Basic tests
- Raised by:
- Jo Rabin
- Opened on:
- 2006-11-09
- Description:
- I am uncertain about the editorial note that has appeared in 1q explaining the
character encoding issues. It is obviously helpful to add the notes. But I think
that since all the other tests are concise and not explanatory are we not
opening the flood gates to being similarly helpful in other tests. I think that
we should proabably not include explanatory notes as it will take a lot longer
to finish the document and increases the chance of error. (especially as Dom
tells us that there is, or there is about to be a new orthodoxy around character
encoding in particular).
There is potentially room for explanatory notes in another document, Wiki, whatever. - Related Actions Items:
