Work package 2 contains all activities related to the re-specification of USDL towards its standardisation.
Tasks
- T2.1: Requirements on the specification from our side
- T2.2: Requirements on the specification from W3C side
- T2.3: Rework USDL and consider existing standards where applicable (WEBify)
- T2.4: Review of USDL rework
Deliverables
- D2.1: “Requirements on the standard specification” (T2.1, T.2.2), due M2
- Formal and informal requirements
- Comparison of different standardization bodies and recommendation for USDL
- D2.2: “Formal specification of the language (USDL XG Version)” (T2.3, T2.4), due M4
- Module based if applicable
- USDL should be using existing standards and be the glue between them
- Includes specification of extension mechanism
- D2.3: "Review of USDL Specification"
