From W3C Unified Service Description Language
The work in the USDL XG is split along 3 main pillars: Related work analysis, specification and evaluation. This can also be seen from the project plan:

The biggest milestone is Milestone 2 at the end of February, because work on USDL continues SAP-internally until then. Beginning of March, this specification will be handed over to the USDL XG for further refinement.
