Modelling accuracy and related properties of a sensor's measurement

State:

Description:
There is a page on the wiki

http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/ssn/wiki/Modelling_of_Accuracy%2C_etc

describing a way to model accuracy and related properties of a sensor. The page is still evolving. And illustrative examples as well as some more content will be added.

Is this a reasonable way to model these concepts? And, along with all other comments, please suggest better names for the concepts.

Michael

Related notes:

MMI device ontology [1] defines a class measurement capability and subclasses Accuracy, Range...etc..

The measurement capabilities have a range Range and Range has a type ValueType with has a property uom (Units of Measurement).

So I propose:
- Change quality for capability
- Make all special conditions “Range..” subclass of Measurement Capability
- MMI needs to rename some classes to be consistent
- Need to better define the value types and use of uom, or reuse another ontology for this purpose
