Terry Morris

Terry Morris Ed.D. is an Associate Professor at Harper College. Terry's focus at Harper College is developing and teaching standards-based Web development and Web accessibility courses. She also teaches e-commerce, programming, database, information systems, and instructional technology courses.

Terry has published several standards-based web development textbooks under the name of Terry Felke and Terry Felke-Morris. The most recent is the 5th edition of Web Development & Design Foundations with XHTML (Addison-Wesley, 2010).

Developing and teaching online courses since 1999, Terry has received the 2008 MERLOT Business Classics Award, the Instructional Technology Council’s 2008 Outstanding e-Learning Faculty Award for Excellence, and the 2006 Blackboard Greenhouse Exemplary Course Award (Online Course Category). The Online Learning Idea Book (Pfeiffer, 2007) includes several of her online teaching strategies. Terry's chapter, Anytime/Anywhere Online Learning: Does It Remove Barriers for Adult Learners, appears in Online Education and Adult Learning: New Frontiers for Teaching Practices (IGI Global, 2009).

Terry's education credentials include a Master of Science in Information Systems from Roosevelt University, Master Online Teacher Certificate from the Illinois Online Network at the University of Illinois, and a Doctor of Education from Northcentral University.
