Sweden is in the process of revising its school system. Secondary schooling, "gymasium", roughly equivalent to senior high in the USA, will get a new structure, new curricula for every single course that is being taught and a new grading system. All of this is planned to be implemented in 2011. The reform is called "Gy -11". Lars Gunther, OWEA member and course developer for InterAct, is in charge of developing Web Craft-related curricula, but he will also be addressing programming, computer communications, server administration and other IT related courses. As much material as possible from InterAct will be used, remixed to suit the gymnasium level and Swedish national guidelines for curricula. This as an excellent opportunity to influence web education at a national level, that might serve as a model for all of Europe.
