The spec tends to mislead some implementors into believing decimal codec can reuse code from integer codec

- EXI Spec Errata
- Raised by:

- Opened on:
- 2013-07-10
- Description:
- YD shared his story in how the spec gave him an impression that Decimal codec could reuse some of the integer codec. It led the WG to consider adding an adminition along the line of [1] (in particular, the last two sentences in the proposed paragraph).
Later analysis by RK in thinking how the adminition fits in the whole of the spec led him to believe we should consider alternative ways or wordings to address the issue [2].

Related notes:
The WG discussed the issue during 2013-07-10 telecon, and decided we add two notes, one in decimal section and the other in integer section to clarify that the two codecs do not have direct connection.
