- A: Not any more…
- SW has indeed a strong foundation in research result…
- …but we see more and more companies embracing it.
- Remember:
- the Web was born at CERN…
- …was first picked up by high energy physicists…
- …then by academia at large…
- …then by small businesses and start-ups…
- “big business” came only later!
- Semantic Web is now at #4, and moving to #5!
