As STMicroelectronics e-Marketing innovation manager I'm initiating various activities toward advanced knowledge management techniques within the company. My axis of research are mainly oriented toward the deployment of implicit knowledge dissemination as far as ST has a broad range of products and technologies that has to be shared among 50'000 employees and the overall semiconductor engineer population. As a first step, we focused our effort to structure the data being very active to support the creation and deployment of RosettaNet XML standards. I'm know influencing the organization to consider non-structured data sharing. This supposes the usage of meta data to categorize the non-structured information in different forms. The current internal projects are related to RSS/RDF/SW/DC implementation. I'm also considering knowledge visualization to draft application block diagrams coupling RDF and SVG on the form of TOPIC Map. I wish to attend your workshop to extend my network and identify individual and organization bodies with whom we may collaborate to seed this concepts at STMicroelectronics and/or to develop proof of concepts.
