Responder Redmond, WA, USA (Hosted by Microsoft)Zaragoza, Spain (Hosted by Yandex)Comments
Arthur Barstow Yes, and prefer No
Chaals Nevile Yes, but prefer not Yes, and prefer I have a strong preference for Zaragoza, for the reasons noted in my answer to the HTML questionnaire. It's basically a lot less time wasted travelling to and fro, being in a real city that is walkable and affordable.
Olli Pettay No Yes I don't actually know what the poll is asking, since there is no question.
So I'm answering to a question "if the WG had a f2f, would you think of attending if it was organized at the location:"
Xiaoqian Wu Yes, but prefer not Yes, and prefer
Yves Lafon Yes, but prefer not Yes, and prefer Losing 2 days on the plane for each US travel is a bit painful.
Daniel Appelquist No Yes, and prefer
Léonie Watson No Yes, and prefer
Steve Faulkner No Yes Travel to US for this is not an option for me. FYI I know Zaragoza well as I travel there annually (my wife has family there).
Jose Manuel Cantera Fonseca No Yes, and prefer
Eduardo Fullea No Yes
Janusz Majnert Yes Yes
Ryosuke Niwa Yes Yes I would slightly prefer Redmond for logistical reasons but I would be supportive of having it in Europe since we haven't had a meeting in Europe for a long time.
Shijun Sun Yes No
Ali Alabbas Yes No
Israel Hilerio Yes, and prefer No
Ben Peters Yes, and prefer No
Jean Michel Rouger No Yes
Robin Berjon Yes, but prefer not Yes, and prefer
Sam Ruby Yes, and prefer Yes, but prefer not ApacheCon is April 13 - 16 in Austin Texas. I'd like to be able to stop over for a day (or two) there. <http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/apachecon-north-america>
Jacob Rossi Yes No
Bryan Sullivan Yes No
Daniel Coloma No Yes
Jungkee Song Yes, and prefer Yes
Patrick Lauke No Yes, and prefer
Mounir Lamouri Yes, and prefer Yes, but prefer not
Theodore Mielczarek No No Will not attend.
Cory Plock Yes, and prefer No
Joshua Bell Yes No My "Yes" for Redmond is more of a "Maybe"; I am unlikely to have any pressing agenda items for the F2F, but would take the opportunity to meet several colleagues at MSFT for other discussions.
Johannes Wilm No Yes, and prefer
Dimitri Glazkov No No I can't travel during this time. In retrospect, I probably should've attended the one in San Jose :(
Hallvord Steen No Yes I may attend (not sure yet) if it is in Europe, certainly won't if it's in the U.S.
Travis Leithead Yes Yes, but prefer not
Vincent Scheib No No Will not attend.
Wonsuk Lee Yes, and prefer Yes
