EOWG requested significant changes to Video 5. We have updated description of new visuals. We're hoping to approve this by Tuesday 28 January, and get the final updated video that week. (If we don't meet that schedule, we might need to wait until the end of February to finish this video.)
This survey collects responses to the EOWG approval of the Evaluation Video 5 Visuals description.
Note: We are reviewing the visuals only of the script. The audio narration has already been recorded as previously approved.

[ED-low]: Seq 5 Time 41-47: Might be worth matching the motivation gauge to the compliance gauge in Video 4 [ED-med]: Seq 7 Time 56-65: Not sure about the globe with a heart icon. Looks a bit like a basketball. Maybe something that flips this to be a heart of a globe e.g. https://knoxvillecpr.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/heart_globe.png |

I have reviewed all of the resources above and noted the minutes of the discussion from the last call. I am in agreement with the (+1) that were proposed - the alignment of the user types on the right, remove the sticker, keep with the website crumbling, adding testing icon. etc. No further comments. |

I like sequence 6 with the people. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. It seems like there will be a lot of movement, but it seems to relate much closer to the Audio portion of the script. |

[ED-low], actually [ED-super-duper-low], more like [random-comment] In scenes 6 & 7 there’s a lot going on, at least it appears like that from reading it (but it might also be that those scenes need more description because they have changed quite a lot). I encourage the Editor to condense animation if there’s really too much going on after animating it. |

For the people that get shown, as they are just symbols of solid color. I think it would be easier to see some if they had an outline as some backgrounds make it hard to see the yellow person. The use of color is indicated in the 4th visuals to indicate a change. What does orange versus blue icons mean as not clear from the audio? |

Segment 5: Gauge. [??] What would the gauge look like? A search for "gauge icon" gives circle or half-circle things. Here's one I quite like https://www.123rf.com/photo_97931220_stock-vector-gauge-meter-icon-on-white-.html And the things it brings to my mind (faster, louder) are appropriate here. [ED-high] I would *not* want to use the plain bar like at the beginning of the conformance video, since no one likes it. [ignore] (if we had time -- which I understand that we do not-- perhaps we would consider a gauge for there, too?) Segment 6 "We zoom in closely so that the whole center of the circle is filled with people." [??] Are these the same "pawn" people used throughout these other videos? "A bit like this but with the globe just using one color instead of two, and without an outline around the heart: " I like the world and heart concept. [ED-med] +1 for making it visually much simpler (even more than is in the text description) [ED-lo] Actually, I'd prefer a real world rather than a globe. Maybe something kinda like this https://www.iconfinder.com/icons/2101772/global_globe_heart_world_icon or https://www.svgrepo.com/svg/280297/world-heart with the world appearing first, and the heart growing from it? --- Overall, I think this is *much* better! I'm excited for this video! |
