We will be in The Stata Center room 346 all three days:
Discount rates were available for the June meeting at the Royal Sonesta and at the Marlowe. We may or may not be able to make similar arrangements this time. Contact Noah's AA, Laurie Scolaro for details (laurie_scolaro@us.ibm.com)
The Kendall Hotel, the Marriott Cambridge and the Residence Inn Cambridge are all closer to the meeting, but in June at least, there were no negotiated discounts there.
Wireless 802.11 Internet access will be provided.
TBD
The MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) is located at 32 Vassar Street, Cambridge, MA on the northeastern edge of the MIT campus on Vassar Street near the intersection with Main Street.
Boston Logan International Airport is the closest international airport to MIT. The travel time between the airport and hotels in Cambridge will vary between 30 minutes to one hour depending on traffic conditions. Taxis from the airport are plentiful and fares will range around $30-40.
The Stata Center is located a few blocks away from the MBTA Red line Kendall/MIT stop.
Contact Amy van der Hiel several days in advance to arrange for parking passes. The nearest parking lot is down the block at the corners of Vassar Street and Mass Ave.
