Established in January 1996, Exodus Performance Labs began with 250 PCs and
a T1 line. It quickly developed into the IT industry's largest independent
testing facility, a distinguished position that the company still holds
today. Exodus Performance Labs has grown to more than 1600 networked PCs
and servers and a 45Mb DS3 fat pipe (roughly 28 T1 lines) as well as a
brand new OC3, which is 3 times the size of the DS3, in its new 40,000 sq
ft. state-of-the-art testing facility, which boasts ten secure labs for
testing sensitive products, a dozen certification programs and a score of
specialized testing environments. We are really looking forward to the
prospect of working with the consortium as the "enforcer" or the
certification arm for the established standards.

Exodus Performance Labs facility consists of a 40,000 square foot building
with over 1,600 PCs and servers connected primarily by Cisco routers and
switches. The building is wired with over 65 miles of enhanced Category 5
cabling and is Gigabit ready. We have a Remote Access Server (RAS) with 120-
modem dialup capability as well as redundant DS3 45 Mb pipes. Exodus
Performance Labs has once again broken ground for a new 90,000 square foot
facility scheduled to be complete by the end of this year.
