A few TestBooks that you might find interesting to understand the concept of Testing Practices. Give the title and the ISBN number at least and maybe a description on which parts are relevant to W3C Work.

Chapter 2 explains "Software development process" and gives hints on different cycles models.

Chapter 12 is about "Testing the Documentation" which is slighty related of testing a document and it's usability, which has implication in W3C Work.
