WGStats
This document combines data from Michael Champion's Working Group Statistics analysis and the GroupDashboards wiki to create a table of statistics for all WGs (as of January 2015), including a group's specification roadmap (if available).
This data was created to get a general sense of the activity level of a WG. The data can answer questions like: which WGs are still open yet have an expired charter; how much e-mail traffic does a WG have; when was a WG's last publication; how many Technical Reports has a WG published in the last two years; etc.
Column headings: # Orgs is the number of organizations formally participating in a WG; # IE is the number of Invited Experts in a WG; Tracking is the group's Issue tracking database; Start, Renewed, End are the dates a WG started, had its charter renewed and the expected end date, respectively; Q3 msgs and Q4 msgs are the number of e-mail messages in the given list for Q3 and Q4 of 2014, respectively; TR 2yrs is the number of Technical Reports published in the last two years (namely 2013 and 2014); CR/REC 2 yrs is the number of Candidate Recommendations and Recommendations published in the last two years.
