TPAC2013-accessibility

From W3C Wiki

Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can use the Web. More specifically, web accessibility means that people with disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the Web, and that they can contribute to the Web. Web accessibility also benefits others, including older people with changing abilities due to aging.

  • Accessibility - W3C provides a general overview of why (the case for web accessibility), what (examples of web accessibility), and how (make your website and web tools accessible).
  • Web accessibility basics provides an introduction from a developer's perspective.

The primary source for web accessibility information is the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).

This page provides information on accessibility-related meetings and events around W3C TPAC 2013 in China in November 2013.

Please check this page periodically, because we will add additional information.
