Intention/Goal: The intention of this meeting is to launch the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Project and International Program Office (IPO). The goal is also get feedback and validate our working model (IPO, Interest group, 3 W3C working groups, 5 activity areas, etc).

Each breakout will concentrate on 3 topics:
  1. Dave Raggett, Technology: HTML, CSS extensions, HTTP negotiation, certification tools, and use of PICS.
  2. Gregg Vanderheiden, Guidelines: Existing guidelines for HTML authoring as well as the different levels of accessibility depending on the point of view. In addition, some of the style guide/usability guidelines will be addressed.
  3. Mike Paciello, Education: Focus on what audience(s) we want to address, how to proceed, etc.
