RE: Open UCR issues for the coverage subgroup ISSUE-18, ISSUE-19, ISSUE-32

These 2 topics (ISSUE-18 and ISSUE-19) came up at the Coverage meeting last week. Also, I note that ISSUE-18 refers to a requirement 5.23 Model reuse which is also a requirement on the SSN deliverable 9but has not been discussed in SSN meetings).

So… I propose that, instead of using the he “coverage” meeting next week we address them at the plenary SDW meeting this week.

At the same time, I propose we cover ISSUE-32 (see today’s email from Frans titled “Merge requirements for non-geographic reference systems?” which refers to both the BP and SSN deliverables, with a relationship to Coverage, too.

Bill, Frans, SSN editors – are you ok with attempting to finalise these this week in the plenary?

Thanks

–Kerry

Subject: Open UCR issues for the coverage subgroup

Hello Bill,

We still have two open UCR issues that are waiting to be resolved by cooperation between the UCR and coverage subgroups. The issues are ISSUE-18<https://www.w3.org/2015/spatial/track/issues/18> and ISSUE-19<https://www.w3.org/2015/spatial/track/issues/19>. Related actions (ACTION-114<https://www.w3.org/2015/spatial/track/actions/114> and ACTION-115<https://www.w3.org/2015/spatial/track/actions/115>) were assigned to Manolis before the coverage subgroup really started.

Would it be possible for the coverage subgroup to address these two issues in the near future? It would be nice to be able to close them. Perhaps a time slot in the next coverage meeting can be found?

Regards,
Frans
