And I went ahead and did it.  The patch (which should be attached to
this email) makes `testft.py` aware of these terms in the following way.
If a test fails, but another test passes that is an alternative to the
first test, then the summary notes this fact.  If the only failing tests
are tests such that an alternative passed, then the final summary
message "All tests were passed (or had an alternate test pass)!" is
displayed.  The EARL results are unchanged; only the descriptive output
is modified.
