I believe that now the two issues you have flagged here have been addressed.

For item 1, we have rephrased as outlined.

For item 2, we have clarified the notion of identifier, see latest email 
in ISSUE-183.

I therefore propose to close this issue (or continue the debate on 
ISSUE-183,
if required).
