(I can't recall the use cases for it, but I know that I've wanted to use it several times in the past.) I don't think that use of 'invert' should be encouraged any more than it already is. The inability of user agents to support it is already a concern, and having to support it may force browsers to take less efficient drawing code paths than they would otherwise have to. Simon
