DAP-ISSUE-148: NetworkService.name definition in 8.2.2.4 incoherent with definition in 7.1 (a human-readable title for the service) [Network Service Discovery] http://www.w3.org/2009/dap/track/issues/148 Raised by: Jean-Claude Dufourd On product: Network Service Discovery NetworkService.name definition in 8.2.2.4 is: Set network service record's name property to the string value of the first occurrence of the advertised service's <serviceId> sub-element. This is incoherent with definition in 7.1: ...a human-readable title for the service. This was discussed already in this thread: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-device-apis/2012Nov/0067.html in particular in: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-device-apis/2012Nov/0092.html but not acted upon.
