Audio-ISSUE-10 (negative-gain): Negative values suggested for the Audio Gain Node [Web Audio API] http://www.w3.org/2011/audio/track/issues/10 Raised by: Chris Lowis On product: Web Audio API Chris Lowis suggests that a negative value for the Audio Gain Node would be useful. Chris Rogers agrees. To add some detail around this suggestion: allowing a negative gain allows developers to create a "phase-inversion", which is a very useful feature, *not-limited* to the following uses: in music production - helping add clarity by positioning sounds in the stereo field, for noise reduction - cleaning up signals that have too much echo, and for use in general surround sound signal processing. http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-audio/2012JanMar/0489.html
