In the talk I have made at the Metadata Australia conference last month http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/ssn/wiki/images/7/7e/Semantically-enabled_Standard_Development-27May.pdf , I have developed an example based on how rainfall sensors respond in extrerme conditions which highlights the need to model how different rainfall sensors perform at high levels of rainfall intensity (see slide 3 to 6). 

Should we use this scenario to illustrate the corresponding parts of the XG ontology (e.g. Measurement Capabilities)?

Should we also use this pitch (especially the part which explain the added value could be brought by semantic annotations in such cases) for the Semantic Markup deliverable?

Do you have similar examples which could be merged with this one?
