This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to add the following errata item to the errata list for XML Signature (Second Edition) [1] and also for XML Signature 1.1 [2]. The same change is applicable to both. The E# will be updated as appropriate for each. Please note that this can be classified as an informative change which does not affect conformance, as it clarifies wording. Please respond to this CfC on the public list by 30 Sept 2014 indicating support (a +1 will do) or any concern. Silence will be taken as agreement. Errata item to add: ---- E#: Clarify Signature types Added: Accepted: XML Security WG TBD Class: informative Affects conformance: no (1) Replace "as sibling elements; in this case,” with “; that is, “ in Section 2 (Overview).
