Summit on Recovering from Device Loss in WebAuthn

Hello All,

We are hosting a summit at the University of Washington to discuss
“Recovering from Device Loss in FIDO 2/WebAuthn”. The goal of this summit
is to bring together members of FIDO/WebAuthn who are interested in solving
this problem so that we can build a list of constraints and figure out
concrete next steps for FIDO 2.0/WebAuthn.

The summit will be held at the Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science at
the University of Washington (maps link: https://goo.gl/maps/YF6DbyXXqvt)
in the Gates Commons (on the 6th floor) on August 3. We anticipate this
being a public workshop.

For those people planning to attend, please let us know by July 20th as we
need to make sure we’ve reserved enough space and order an appropriate
amount of food. Please also let us know any dietary restrictions.

To make sure enough people can still attend, we will send out a
confirmation e-mail on July 24th. Please don't purchase non-refundable
tickets or secure accommodation until then.

This will be a half day summit. For those who will still want to come in a
day early on the 2nd, we’d suggest staying at the Watertown Hotel (
https://www.staypineapple.com/watertown-hotel-seattle-wa), which is a short
walk to the building. We picked a 10am start time and 2:30pm end time to
also allow day-of flights from certain regions.
