Re: Input for BP7?

Hi Bart.

I've done some more digging; it looks like your changes (or at least the
intent of your changes has already made it into the Editors Draft ...

Linda merged the contents of your PR (#453) into a parallel branch
("bp-next-wd-rel") and then later into the main branch ("gh-pages").

Looking at the commit history:

1/ "Updates relating to ACTION-218", 27-Nov (16c5932) [1]
1.1/ added text to BP4 about use of R2RML in creating Web-crawler-friendly
representations
1.2/ added text to BP11 about use of a "rdfs_seealso" attribute

2/ "Reword Bp11 how 3", 14-Dec (5d22ef4) [2]
2.1/ updated text in BP11 about rdfs_seealso

3/ "(Re) add BP4 R2RML possible implementation.", 14-Dec (ff2c738) [3]
3.1/ added R2RML text into BP4 again (same as /1.1/ above) because @jtandy
deleted it :)

4/ "Add note to point to BP11", 14-Dec (baaef27) [4]
4.1/ <note> added to relate the R2RML approach to text in BP11

Since your commits,

BP4 "approach to implementation" currently states (index.html#1011) [5]:

*EXAMPLE 9*
*Possible implementation approaches for addressing this best practice in
the context of an existing SDI are discussed in more detail in Best
Practice 11: Expose spatial data through 'convenience APIs' for additional
information. For example, by using a proxy tool like ldproxy
<https://github.com/interactive-instruments/ldproxy> or by mapping the data
in the SDI dynamically to crawlable resources on the web using the [R2RML]
standard and Linked Data Publication tools. Both approaches generate
crawlable data from features in your spatial datasets at query time and
allow to enrich the data on the Web with additional information and links. *

... this was modified by @cportele in his update to BP4 "Update of BP4:
Make your spatial data indexable by search engines", 12-days ago (54f389e)
[6]

BP11 "approach to implementation" currently states (index.html#1860) [7]:

*3. To limit the amount of modifications and load on your SDI but still
maintain a direct link between the data provided through the SDI and the
web friendly version of the spatial features, use 'rdf_seealso' as spatial
feature attribute to point to the web friendly representation.*
which is the text you supplied in /2.1/ above; it is immediately followed
by the (updated) diagram you provided.

Can you confirm that you're content with the current state - esp. relating
to Clemens' edited text?

Thanks, Jeremy
