Invitation to revisit eGov-generated DCAT issues

Hi Ed!

Today during our W3C GLD call we discussed several issues relatedd to
our DCAT work product that (it turns out) originated with you in the
original eGov group more than a year ago. The ones we discussed today
(by our numbers) include:

* ISSUE-7: Drop dcat:accessUrl, use the URI of the dcat:Download
resource instead <http://bit.ly/GGJRqN>
* ISSUE-8: add a property to distinguish direct and indirect access of
dcat:Distribution <http://bit.ly/GGJUTq>
* ISSUE-9: dcat:Distribution and its subclasses are unnecessary
<http://bit.ly/GGJTyO>

(These and several others <http://bit.ly/GGL5m3> were imported into
our workstream by PhilA in the Jan 2012 timeframe as potentially
relevant to our current discussions)

The consensus of the group is that these can be safely dropped as
issues; no one is supporting these arguments. The group did feel that,
since you were the originator of these issues, we should invite you to
give voice to them, either as a member of GLD or as an external
participant. In any case your comments on these and others are welcome
--- which is why we are inviting them via this email ;)
