Re: [apis] Media APIs TF teleconference tomorrow

Hi Sheau, no problem we suspected you had a conflict preventing you from attending.

Two things of interest:

1. There is an open action item for you to “Review use cases and requirements document, see whether there is any need for more use cases related to content sync” - https://www.w3.org/2011/webtv/track/actions/127 - did you have a chance to look into it? If so, a quick mail to the list would be appreciated.

2. We reviewed the Use Cases / Requirements table during the call, and there was one instance where the group wasn't sure about an "X" you seemed to think belonged: Use Case 5 (Content Search) and Requirement 20 (Media Content Protection). The group seemed to think that media content protection didn't really apply during the media search scenario. Of course it would apply later, if the user ends up playing the media, but that seems to not be key to the use case itself. If you have a chance to look into this and either clarify why you thought the requirement applied, or agree that it actually didn't…

More on this in today's meeting minutes:

Best,
Olivier
