Regardless of the fact that this issue had been discussed ad nauseam before the publication of RDFa 1.1 Core,  I have not seen enough evidence justifying the introduction of such a major incompatibility between RDFa 1.1. Core and XHTML+RDFa 1.1 on the one hand, and HTML5+RDFa on the other. So +1 to keep what we have now.
