In case you've forgotten... http://www.w3.org/2001/tag/group/track/issues/36 Web site metadata improving on robots.txt, w3c/p3p and favicon etc. In light of RFC 5785 http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5785 , have Mark Nottingham and Eran Hammer-Lahav done all the necessary work here?
