It is probably a good thing to be open about proposals that are yet submitted. You never know what they might say. But realistically, writing a change proposal is not automatic accessibility task force consensus. And as we all know, accessibility task force recommendations are not automatic HTML working group consensus or HTML Chairs' decisions (i.e. the accessibility task force longdesc recommendation). Bug 10642 was marked "a11ytf" November 30 by "w3c". http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_activity.cgi?id=10642 Anyone know who the w3c person is who added the "a11ytf" keyword?
