Subject: Issue-239 Consensus, to be closed

All -

On the teleconference on January 22nd we found consensus on a change proposal for issue-239 related to URL array for compliance, with an apparently lone objection from Nick Doty supporting an alternative proposal.

http://www.w3.org/wiki/Privacy/TPWG/Proposals_on_status_URL_array_for_compliance_regimes
https://www.w3.org/2011/tracking-protection/track/issues/239

Change proposal includes the following text:

> An origin server MAY send a member named compliance with an array value containing a list of URI references that identify specific regimes to which the origin server claims to comply for the designated resource. Communicating such a claim of compliance is presumed to improve transparency, which might influence a user's decisions or configurations regarding allowed tracking, but does not have any direct impact on this protocol.
> compliance = %x22 "compliance" %x22
> compliance-v = array-of-refs

The editors have already updated the TPE with the compliance array text. The issue is marked pending review and we plan to close the issue in two weeks (February 5th). We know not everyone could make Wednesday's teleconference: if there are objections we have not heard or sustained support for some variation of Nick's alternative proposal, please send those to the mailing list before the 28th of January, if possible.
