Re: SDWWG Next meeting - Welcome back everyone !

Regrets for this meeting. I'm at a Summer school.
I am interested in issue 15.

We have a project related to energy management and we have data about
the history of energy consumption in household. These are data about the
past at certain locations. We also want to be able to get current data
(about the present). And we need to be able to exchange data about
predictions, that are in the future. We must be able to make clear what
is prediction and what is actual observation. It should be possible to
also compare past predictions with actual observations. Some data about
the future are not predictions, though. For instance, data can describe
future plans that will happen no matter what because the system is so
configured to make them happen.

The main requirement for us is that we distinguish data that describe
actual things as they are in the world at a given point in time, and
things that are just hypothetically and approximately describing a state
of the world at a given point in time based on a model and other data.
