Tim,

Can you expand a little on this?  I'm not seeing the PAQ capability that might 
be enhanced by this work (interesting as it is).  I can imagine using it for or 
in conjunction with certain kinds of provenance information, but I'm not sure 
how it becomes a useful part of the access mechanisms.
